My Treatment Approach:

Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression; facing challenges of major life transitions; and/or suffering from dissatisfactory relationships; you are not alone. I am here to guide you to find relief and get back on track to leading a fulfilling life. My hope is for you to experience healing and enjoy satisfactory relationships with family, friends, and significant others.

My therapeutic focus is to work with couples and kids (k-5). I offer couples therapy and counseling services including premarital counseling, couple’s communication skills development, intimacy issues, and couple’s conflict resolution. I am experienced in working with kids (k-5) through issues including ADHD, anger outbursts, and emotional disturbance due to parent’s divorce/separation, and grief and loss. I also have experience working with acculturation issues and interracial relationships and marriages.

As a therapist, I have the ability to connect with clients and maintain a therapeutic alliance through reflective listening and empathic validation. I take pride in providing clients with a safe and non-judgmental space to process your inner thoughts and feelings. In session, you can expect to feel respected and heard, as well as receiving professional guidance in finding answers to what brings you to therapy in the first place. To be better equipped to help couples, I completed the Gottman Method Couples Therapy training level 1 and 2. Please find the link to the official Gottman Method website https://www.gottman.com/. My approach is client-centered, integrating CBT techniques and attachment theory, with a focus on mindfulness practice. 我讲国,粤语。
